The programme is entirely distance-based and runs at a 50% study pace.The programme has its foundation on a modern agile approach and focuses on methods and practices that are well established in the IT industry. The studies will gradually increase students? knowledge in areas such as requirements engineering, leadership and project methodology. Furthermore, the programme focuses on benefits realisation and the connection between IT and business. We see an extensive need to educate project managers and the future labour market is considered good.The progression in the programme looks like as follows (50% study pace = 4 semesters):First semester: the foundation of the programme is set up, with a focus on benefits realisation, the role of theproject and the connection between business strategies and IT.Second semester: project methodology, requirements and leadership.Third semester: financial management and financial control play a critical role in the professional life of a project manager, so the third semester focuses on these topics. In addition to these topics, a course in research methodology is also included.Fourth semester: Master's Thesis, 15 credits.
