Om utbildningen

Complex Adaptive Systems is an international, interdisciplinary programme at the University of Gothenburg. It is taught jointly with the International Masters Programme in Complex Adaptive Systems at Chalmers.

The programme at the University of Gothenburg is open to international and domestic students with a basic academic degree in the natural, engineering, or mathematical sciences. The programme is interdisciplinary, with lectures on simulation and theory of complex systems, practical work in the robotics lab, and supervised project work.

The aim is to prepare the students for research and development work in industry or for continued academic studies. Students of the programme are assisted in finding their own topics and interests in the field of complex systems. Computer simulations, game theory, and statistical methods are used to describe and increase our understanding of complex systems in nature and society.
