This programme gives you a new and futureorientated opportunity to broaden your knowledge in a particular subset of international business administration, representing a nexus of competences and issues which will expand in importance along with the ongoing globalisation of firms and organisations. International Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Jönköping International Business School is a Master's programme designed for students who wish to complement their Bachelor's degree with an improved inter-disciplinary knowledge of critical cross-functional links within as well as between organisations.
The theoretical fields included in the programme feature logistics, management, marketing, economics, informatics, law, and economic geography. Students gain knowledge and understanding of the supply chain network and its development, as well as of the tools needed to analyse, develop and change such chains. The Master's programme prepares students for international careers.
Structure and Content The Master's programme offers a strong
connection between theory and practice.
Within the various components of the programme, students will enjoy a continuous and constructive exposure to practice and exchange with practitioners. Practitioners are invited to make presentations as well as to engage in discussions. Students are introduced to live cases by a number of study visits to different companies.
Learning applications of analytical tools and models will be introduced through case illustrations. In this way, the learning process will be anchored in reality and new knowledge and skills be attained in innovative ways. During the third semester, students will have the opportunity to pursue part of their studies at one of our 210 partner universities around the world
